Information for donors
If you make a donation or incur expenditure for the benefit of a candidate, group of candidates, registered political party, associated entity or third party, you may need to lodge a disclosure return with the ECQ.
There are different requirements for donors to State elections and Local Government elections. Donors should check the rules that apply to them via the links below.
Donors to Local government elections
Disclosures must be lodged through the ECQ’s Electronic Disclosure System (EDS).
