Annual reports

The annual report provides a detailed account of the ECQ's activities for the reporting year. The report is tabled in Parliament and contains audited financial statements and performance indicators, providing accountability to our stakeholders.

Open data

The ECQ is committed to making data publicly available in support of the Queensland Government's Open Data initiative to achieve a more transparent and accountable public sector. The Open Data Policy PDF (0.29 MB) outlines how the ECQ will support the initiative through the release of datasets.

The ECQ’s purpose is to deliver accessible, fair and transparent electoral services to all Queenslanders. In keeping with this purpose, and in recognition of the importance of the ECQ acting with impartiality and transparency during electoral events, all contact with ECQ initiated by Members of Parliament, Local Government Councillors, electorate offices and electoral candidates that is unrelated to standard engagement via the ECQ’s Funding, Disclosure and Compliance team or through the standard candidate nomination process will be logged on a register that is published on the ECQ website.

Election reports

After each state election, the ECQ must provide a report to the Minister on the conduct of the election (previously presented as Statistical Returns). These reports are tabled in the Legislative Assembly. It is also the ECQ’s standard practice to report on the conduct of other electoral events.
