  • the pages you accessed and documents downloaded; and

As this is a Queensland Government web site, email correspondence is treated as a public record and will be retained as required by the Public Records Act 2002 and other relevant regulations.

Your name and address will not be added to a mailing list and we will not disclose these details to third parties without your consent, unless required by law. Email messages may be monitored by authorised ECQ staff for purposes such as system maintenance and troubleshooting.

Your email details will be disclosed to the relevant authorities if necessary to protect the safety of the public or the rights and property of the State of Queensland.

This site does not provide open access facilities for securely transmitting information across the internet.  While we provide a secure environment, you should be aware there are risks associated with the transmission of information via the internet. Contact us should you wish to use alternative ways of obtaining or providing information.

This site may contain links to other websites and ECQ is not responsible for the privacy, security practices or content of external websites.

Access to your information

The Right to Information Act 2009 (the RTI Act) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (the IP Act) entitle you to access information held by government (including documents held by ECQ). Sensitive information may not be released where the Acts recognise it would be contrary to the broader public interest.
