The Electoral Commission of Queensland, is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from persons interested in working as an election official at the next State Election. 

You will need to provide your name, address, contact details, a brief summary of your previous electoral experience and select the Electoral District and Polling Booth you would like to work at.  To work as an Office or Election Assistant in the Returning Officer’s office please select Non-Polling Booth positions.

If you are successful in obtaining a position, your Returning Officer will contact you once the election is called.  Please note that the registration of an EOI does not guarantee anyone employment at this election.

Polling Booth Positions

• Booth Supervisor
• Second in Charge
• Declaration Vote Issuing Officer
• Senior Ordinary Issuing Officer
• Issuing Officer 

Returning Officer Office Positions

• Election Assistant
• Office Assistant
• Sunday Assistant
