2017 Paroo Shire Council - Councillor By-Election

The councillor by-election for the Paroo Shire Council will be a full postal ballot. 

Voting:

This election will be a full postal ballot - which means your ballot papers will be sent to your enrolled postal address. You can vote as soon as you receive your ballot material, however you must vote before polling closes at 6pm on 30 September.

How-to-postal-vote:

Follow the simple steps below to make sure your vote counts:                             

  • Read and follow the instructions on the declaration envelope and ballot paper.
  • Your completed ballot paper must be detached and sealed inside the declaration envelope.
  • You must then either:
    • Place the declaration envelope in the reply-paid envelope and post it back; or
    • Hand-deliver the declaration envelope to the Returning Officer (available by appointment).

Replacement Ballot Materials:

If you do not receive, have misplaced or require replacement ballot materials, please complete a Form LG 25 Declaration (PDF, 101.0 KB) and lodge it with ECQ.
